Beamed to the world by satellite from the H.I.C. Arena in Honolulu, it’s claimed that the it was seen by more than one-billion viewers throughout the world. Without question, it was the ultimate commercial highpoint of Elvis’ career. The album reached number 1 in most countries throughout the world, and CD and DVD sales of the show still are among his strongest catalogue sellers.
